Achiles tendon injury question?
So the other day I was running, perhaps I did overexert myself, although at the time nothing seemed wrong. Two days later I decide to go for another run and I find that I have a mild pain in my right Achilles tendon. The pain wasn’t bad, just unusual, I decided it might be best to stay off it, so I cut my run short and hadn’t been on it till yesterday (another three days) when I briefly jogged around to see if it was still a prob, it was and I quit. Now I wake up this morning to find a muscle or something on top of my right foot slightly inflammed and a mild pain in my right hip. What’s up with this stuff? I don’t think the jogging yesterday did it. Is it possible I had acumulated a bunch of injuries that I didn’t feel till they started to heal? Considering I’ve been resting my legs so much lately? Does that make sense? Just my hypothesis.

If it’s still going, you should probably check with a doctor. You may have inadvertently injured something, and if your Achilles tendon was inflamed, you’ve probably been walking a little differently, which could account for pain in your hip. Get it checked – maybe get a little physical therapy if needed. It doesn’t sound like you’re too bad off, and all you may need is a course of pain relievers, ice, and rest – maybe a muscle relaxer. Still, it’s better to deal with these things quickly – especially when you start noticing other affected joints.
