Help! Pain in ankle but no swelling/bruising…?
I play soccer and ever since Monday during practice, my ankles have been killing me. There is a slight difference in that the left is in a bit more pain then the right, but they are pretty much equal. The first day, the pain was not so bad and it subsided within an hour. However, I have been playing soccer every day and each day I do, the pain becomes greater and lasts longer (last night I was up until one a.m. because the pain was keeping me from sleep). There is no swelling or bruising, and I can roll my ankles, but it just hurts extremely badly to run or walk. I feel like some of the pain is coming from my Achilles tendon, but I’m not sure. The pain is almost at the point where it is unbearable to walk, but I don’t know if I should just rest it or keep going.
so…..what is the matter with my ankles? thanks so much!

I have a Pain in the ankle?
it’s really bad. I’ve had peroneal tendonitis for a year and a half, but friday i rolled it, and it’s still not feeling better. I’m not too worried about it, it’s just kind of scary because my entire leg is starting to hurt. All the way up to my knee, and it’s not just muscles, it’s everything. It doesn’t hurt to touch or manually (with my hands) move it, but if i try to wiggle my ankle it hurts and it hurts if i set it on something. What could be going on with it???

What’s up with my ankle?
Two months ago I got back from a walking tour of Italy and if you’ve ever been there you know it’s ALL uphill. Well my ankle seemed perfectly fine when I got home but over the past two months it has slowly gotten painful and more swollen. It started as just being a little stiff in the morning to now being extremely swollen on the outside, top, and somewhat swollen on the inside of my ankle. On top of that it has gotten progressively more stiff and painful and has recently given out on me twice. Now in the evening and mornings it’s almost to painful to walk on. This shouldn’t be happening I’m a 17 year old girl!! I have had tendonitis and sprains in the past and have a bad knee. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
i was trying to crack my ankle today and..?
i was just rotating it trying to maybe get a crack and all of a sudden i got this really random pain? its the same pain i get when doing the 2 knees bent stretch to stretch your achilles. it’s in the front of my ankle and on the inside ball of my ankle and it feels like it has to crack! it really really hurts when i’m going down stairs and when i try to rotate it.. i have achilles tendonitis if that helps any.. anyone have any thoughts?
What could really be wrong with my ankle?
3 weeks ago I posted a question:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlasVewiZJ4oiVBvcbxmlCjty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090212084404AA6oHA6.
The next day I go to the doctor and she says I have Tendinitis in my ankle. However I am taking the medication she gave me to help with the pain and inflammation, however it doesn’t see to work.
now my ankle hurts more and gets stiff at some points. I tried wrapping it and putting one of those icy hot patches to help with the pain and tightness but that doesn’t seem to help.
The pain is right above and below my left ankle, and wraps around to the back and down the side of my left ankle.
Any suggestions on what could be wrong with it?
I don’t think it is broken but could it really be Tendinitis
odd.
tried my own link and it says the question was deleted. but when I go to my profile it hasnt been removed
