Anyone experience pain in the leg/ foot while rollerblading?
Does anyone experience pain while rollerblading on the left foot?
Ok, so I just got these badass inline skates. They cost me 160 bucks. I bought them online, so I saw that online, they had a way to determine my inline skate size, and it said that for this company (rollerblade), I should get it the same size as my shoe size, but i got it a half size bigger (9.5) just to be sure they would fit good. So they finally shipped to my house, im excited, put them on, and after about 5 mins, only my left foot and leg start to hurt. towards the left of my calf, I kinda feel the external hard shell of the skates press against my left, which causes some discomfort, and after about 15 mins, the little ball-like bone in the right side of my left foot hurts. I then took them off, and a bit higher than my achilles tendon, it was red on both feet, but this didnt hurt. So my question is: Why does it only hurt me on my left foot? Any help in this topic would be greatly appreciaed.
I have pain in the back of my heel. Does anyone know what could be causing it?
The pain is on the back of my right heel. When it bothers me my heel on the back feels bruised. It also looks like there could be some inflamation there. I hurt my achilles tendon hiking about 9 months ago and felt like it healed but just recently it started bothering me again. I am just wondering if it could be because of the earlier injury or something different.
Anyone know anything about some leg pain?
I am not what you would call the active type. Today I didn’t do anything out of the normal (go to work sit for twelve hours and come home and sleep) I have a sharp constant pain that is on my right leg. It starts mid shin on the right side and works its way down to my ankle. The pain is more intense there, even when I sit still with no wieght put on it. Anyone have any idea what this is? Further more, I am 24, 5′5″ and 158 lbs. I’ve read anything from shin splints to tendonitis.
Tendonitis?? Anyone know? Not sure what my problem is.?
I just had my first child 7 months ago, and I have never had any issues until I had her. During my pregnancy, I had serious hip pain, and it would occur at night and most of the morning. It continued after she was born, showing up on and off and still does. But the last few months I have had bad shoulder pain, and it’s hard to describe the area affected. It’s in the frontal area of my shoulder, and the pain can stretch down my arm. I can’t lift my arm up in the air, and definately not extending it out to my side upwards. This morning my other shoulder started the slight pain. My wrists hurt on the top pointer finger area, and my ankles have the same pains too. Sometimes I have to wear my ankle brace to work because I limp, it hurts to put my body weight on it.
These pains come and go, depending on how I slept, how much work I did the previous day, and it’s really frustrating. When it comes, it hurts BAD, but then I have good days. I am 23!! What is going on??? I feel like I’m falling apart. I’m a pretty active person, I work at a school, but I can’t determine what my problem is. My joints are falling apart.
Anyone who knows what is going on or any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!!
anyone got some sports injuries stories?
ive had achilles tendonitis for a while now and its the worst thing ever. its not like a broken bone that just heals and its over its like it keeps coming back and coming back, no idea what to do. the exercises my physical therapist gave me make it worse. ive done heel raises 4 days a week for 7 months now and it hasnt gotten any better even though my calves are stronger now. its obviously not my flexibility because my calves and achilles tendon are very flexible and have a huge range of motion. i cant play basketball i cant run, i cant do any exercise because it just makes things worse i cant even walk 2 miles without having pain. i ice i do everything possible nothing helps. ive had to quit track cross country and basketball. people give me a hard time about that and say “oh you should of just run through the pain” but that is dumb because it will only make it worse. i am probably going to be out of shape if i keep up this not excersising but what can i do about it right?
i got orthodics and they didnt help at all
1 cm tear in my Achilles Tendon at base of hind foot, anyone have good result with Doc in LI, NY for Surgery?
America help! One doc, bandaged my foot with pills and send me on my way. Another gave me a walking boot, with orthotics, and also send me on my way. Both don’t seem to help as far as nature fixing the problem, other night my foot was swollen and in more pain. I need someone in LI that is an expert in this area. Tired of paying $40 co-pay for office visits with no plan of action!
Has anyone had achilles tendonitis or a partial tear for a year or more and recovered?
Hi, I hurt my achilles tendons a year and a half ago, and theyre still very, very bad. In fact, it’s worse than it was a year ago. They were originally small tears that I didn’t let heal properly and now they’re both chronically injured and the right one can’t even be stretched at all without reaggravating the injury (which is pretty much aggravated as hell already).
I’ve tried ice, ibuprofen, stretching, doctors, heel lifts (which have helped), but it’s a year and a half later and still can’t walk very much at all or the strain will worsen the injury.
Who I’m looking to hear from is people who have actually been through this. Doctors haven’t even been able to help me so far, doctors have all given me advice that was crummy or didn’t work. I don’t know at this point if anything is gonna work which is why I’m reaching out for advice.
Has anybody ACTUALLY been through this or know someone who has been through this? I’m not looking for any speculation unless you are very sure. Thanks

Anyone have tendinitis in the ankle???
If so will it ever go away. I’m in a cast for 10 days. My doctor hope resting my ankle will help. The pain is the worst part. Will losing weight help? I need all the info I can get. Please.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Achilles Tendonitis. Will I ever be pain free like before it?
Hey, I’m a 14 year old male and I play soccer very competitively and usually practice/have games 4-6 times a week. About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with Achilles Tendonitis and was placed in a boot that would keep it immobilized. After 4 weeks wearing this boot my doctor sent me to physical therapy. My therapist says I have another month or two in front of me before I can go back to playing. Also does the injury really come back often? Or is that just in some cases?
