Last week, my right ankle seemed swollen, so I went to the Urgent Care, and got examined by a doctor. He took my blood pressure, it was perfect he said, and after taking a look at my ankle, he told me it was tendinitis, due to the fact that the swelling is only in one ankle, and my BP was perfect, he also said that pre- eclpampsia is more likely in the 3rd trimester.

So this afternoon, I was laying outside, watching my son in the pool, and noticed that my other ankle is swollen (the swelling from the other one disappeared for about a week, but now it’s slightly swollen again, along with the other one).

Is this a cause for concern?
Should I go back to the doctor tomorrow, or just wait till my next Obstetrician appt on August 25th?

Help!

I have recently had knee pain most likely caused by my jogging and tendinitis then last night when I took off my knee braces I noticed that my ankles were swollen. The swelling is not severe, but is noticeable. Could someone please provide me some insight and if needed I can give additional details. Anyway, I’m somewhat worried and need to know what I should do. Thank you all in advance.

The area between my Achilles tendon and ankle hurts really bad when I walk and put pressure on my heel. I has been hurting for the past week and has gotten worse. I work every day and I am on my feet for 9 hours a day walking and standing. Last nite my ankle got swollen and I know it is b/c of the standing for a long period of time. I iced it and elevated it last nite and today it seems to be doing better. Does anyone know what this could be? I dont play sporsts so I havent broken anything, and I changed my shoes w/in soles and it still hurts!! please help!

and very painful. The affected area is from the top of my foot all the way around to my achilles. I have to hop around everywhere for a few days and then the pain completely dissappears. I have gout symptoms except that it shouldn’t affect anyone my age. Anyone have an alternative diagnosis or a remedy? Could it be ligament or tendon damage?

Achilles Tendon hurts a lot especially when I wake up in the morning. It hurts to put pressure on it or point my toe it feels like someone is stabbing it! After I walk on it for awhile the pain goes away but it’s still there. But when I poke it, it still hurts. It’s been like this for 3 days and I have a dance audition in 5 days from now.

What’s wrong with my achilles tendon and how can I make it heal faster? Is it growing pains? Also what are ways to relieve the pain?

My ankle has been swelling and looks reddish/bluish in the area and warm. It’s not hurting but achy! It’s been like this for about 2 years. Too many doctors. One said it’s gout/gouty arthritis, another one said it’s tendonitis. The only thing that makes the swelling go down is cortizone injection. I had blood tests done but there’s no sign of uric acid or kidney problems. I don’t remember any injury to it. I’m getting tired of going to the doctors. It’s getting very expensive and I’m not getting any answer cuz noone can seem to pinpoint the problem. What’s wrong with my ankle?

i broke it in May, the orthopedic put me in a walking boot for 6 weeks, told me it had set up tendonitis. Its now december and its still swollen and the skin is really red. Its giving me alot of problems especially with the cold weather. Should I go back to see the doctor or is this normal???
